On May 6, 2005, much of the Cornell student body will take part in what has been nationally recognized as one of the best college parties: Slope Day. For the past twenty years, thousands of Cornellians have celebrated the last day of classes by gathering on Libe Slope to drink large amounts of alcohol. In recent years, the event has included an increasing number of non-alcohol-related activities as well. This year is especially exciting as the event will feature a performance by two of the most popular hip-hop stars: Snoop Dogg and The Game. The Slope Day gates will open at 11:30 a.m. and the performance will begin at 1:30 p.m. Students with a valid Cornell id can attend the event for free.
