VP: So, let us cut to the cash. How can folks make money here?

JG: We are going to start providing incentives. For every advertisement a student generates for the paper, they will receive10% of their sale as a commission. Thus, you sell a $1000 ad and you get $100 - it's that simple. There is a lot of money to be made here.

For instance, speak to your employer (summer/full-time) about advertising their corporate briefing this Fall, or about taking out an ad to welcome their intern or full-time class. They can list their websites and highlight the positions for which they would recruit.

VP: If you stay in an apartment complex, speak to your leasing office about advertising apartments for rent. If you are a regular at a restaurant, speak to the owner or manager about running specials for Johnson School students. They can get listed in our guide to neighborhood restaurants during graduation and during Fall. If you know a bar owner with Happy Hours, ask if they'd like to advertise with us.

JG: Similarly, if you believe the grading policy is not transparent, or if a course was badly administered, or even if you feel there should be more hot entrées in the cafeteria, come forward and write about it. If you make a sensible, logical argument, we will publish it for you.

So, come be a part of this small business venture and leave your legacy behind forever!
